Network Video Recorder (NVR)
Network Video Recorder (NVR)
NVR is a specialized device that records and stores video data from IP cameras over a computer network. NVRs are commonly used in modern CCTV systems as an alternative to traditional DVRs (Digital Video Recorders) that are used with analog cameras. NVRs are designed to receive video streams from IP cameras over a network, process and compress the video data, and store it on built-in hard drives or external storage devices. They offer features like remote access, real-time monitoring, video playback, motion detection, and video analytics. These are available with plug & play build-in PoE ports from 4 to 64 IP cameras with Ultra HD (4K) resolution, Video Output HDMI local viewing, network video streaming performance with recording rates up to 400Mbps, Video Compression with H.264, H.265, MJPEG compression formats, Recording storage capacity with hard disk drive storage from 2 to 160 TB Support for RAID 5/6 configurations for data redundancy, External I/O Terminals, Network Interface 2 × 1 GbE RJ-45 ports (1000Base-T), and Analytics Features of Appearance Search, Facial Recognition, Classified Object Detection (COD), and License Plate Recognition (LPR).
