Microphones
These are input devices used by operators or staff to make announcements or broadcast messages over the audio system. They can be handheld, desktop, or mounted on walls:
- Dynamic Microphones: There are two types Directional sensitive Dynamic hypercardioid(100°) microphone and Omnidirectional (360°) Dynamic microphone. Suitable for live performances and recording loud sound sources. They can used as a Hand-Held, Table-top base, or with a Floor stand. They have an on-off switch, Male XLR connector, and frequency response up to 50Hz-16KHz.
- Gooseneck Microphones: a gooseneck Cardioid (120°) microphone is a flexible and bendable gooseneck arm. This allows users to adjust the microphone's position and angle easily for optimal sound capture. Low feedback and ambient noise. They are commonly used in conference halls, podiums, Lectern, panel discussions, presentations, lectures, and performances. Plugs into any standard XLRF-type surface or cable connector, and frequency response up to 70Hz-16KHz.
- Preamplified Paging Station: An electret microphone and a stem with a flexible part near the base with a warning chime generator. They can make selective call zones of 6,12,24,36 zones by push-buttons. They have a Male XLR connector and frequency response up to 100Hz-16KHz.
- Hand-Held Wireless Microphones: They transmit audio signals wirelessly to a receiver. Widely used in live performances, presentations, and events for mobility. They have 16 selectable channels with Diversity UHF technology preventing signal losses in RF links, wide dynamic response and flat frequency response, and an Internal antenna. The transmitters with UHF tuning frequency bandwidth 720-744MHz and LCD display.
- Lavalier Wireless Microphones: Small, clip-on microphones that can be attached to clothing. Frequently used in broadcasting, interviews, and live performances. They have 16 selectable channels with Diversity UHF technology preventing signal losses in RF links, wide dynamic response and flat frequency response, and an Internal antenna. The transmitters with UHF tuning frequency bandwidth 720-744MHz and LCD display.
