Booster Power Amplifiers

They are used to boost the audio signal from the microphone and music source to a level that can be broadcast throughout the building. They ensure that the message is loud and clear, Constant voltage (50/70/100 V) or 8 Ω impedance loudspeaker line output, Contacts for activating input precedence, Balanced line input/output (XLR-F and XLR-M sockets, with adjustable sensitivity), Front panel overall volume control and treble and bass controls, Rear-panel selector switch for enabling/disabling front-panel tone and volume controls, Alerting signal (chime) with level control, and telephone/emergency audio input for priority calls with adjustable threshold and sensitivity, Frequency response 40Hz to 20kHz, and power rating of 120,240,480 W. The Voice evacuation system EN54-16 must have its own diagnostics card for testing correct operation and checking the soundness of the loudspeaker line and a double output circuit with separate controls (A and B)for creating systems featuring line redundancy; if a short circuit is detected on one of the two outputs, this line is automatically disconnected to enable proper operation of the other. Frequency response 40Hz to 20kHz, and power rating of 120,240,480 W.
